The new RCL Publications book on the the Railways of Sir Arthur Percival Heywood by James Waterfield.
The author has spent many years studying and researching the work of Sir Arthur Heywood, particularly with regards the ‘Minimum Gauge Railway’. He has also built fine full-size working replicas of the locomotives Effie and Ursula, plus various items of Heywood rolling stock, including bogie carriages. He is uniquely qualified to write the definitive history of these fascinating railways.
