RCL Publications
RCL Publications started in 2000 with the book Two Foot Rails to the Ironstone - written by Paul Ingham This piloted a fresh new format for railway books with a clean layout, detailed drawings. These books were always produced to fit the material available rather than “to a price”. Examples such as The Leek & Manifold Valley Light Railway published in 2005, WDLR Album (2014) and WDLR Companion (2018) and the recent The Railways of Sir Arthur Percival Heywood - Volume 1 (2019) are acknowledged to be some of the finest railway books ever published. The last book published by Roy before his untimely death was Crowsnest Chronicles which documents his own lifetime modelling project - full of inspiration, techniques and modelling insights.
Update 07/10/2024 - All RCL books are now sold. Some new copies may still be available from some retailers and organisations, otherwise they will need to be sought on the second-hand market. None of titles will be reprinted.
